Rooted Futures Collective works with community organizations, businesses, educators, conservation leaders, volunteers, and public institutions to restore local ecosystems, expand access to environmental learning, and build a more resilient and reciprocal future for North Texas.
Our relationships take different forms… from active project partnerships to professional networks, community collaborations, sponsorships, and shared learning. Each one helps connect people, knowledge, and resources in ways that strengthen the places we share.
Active Community Partners
We are collaborating with the Friends of the Balch Springs Library to develop the Future Ancestors Learning Center on the library grounds.
Together, we are transforming an ordinary public landscape into living habitat & a place for environmental education, native plants, pollinators, food-growing, water conservation, outdoor learning, & shared community stewardship.
Send Me DFW is a local nonprofit that offers programs such as CPR & Stop the Bleed training, missing-person search and rescue, & outdoor family adventure & survival camps.
Through our collaboration, we hope to create accessible learning opportunities that help people better understand their environment, prepare for emergencies, safely explore the outdoors, & build the skills needed to care for themselves, one another, & the places around them.

Rooted Futures is proud to be part of the Texan by Nature Conservation Partner Network, a statewide coalition advancing conservation solutions that benefit people, prosperity, and natural resources across Texas.
Rooted Futures Collective is a member of the Balch Springs Chamber of Commerce.
Through the Chamber, we hope to build meaningful relationships with local businesses, develop community sponsorships and volunteer opportunities, and help businesses explore practical approaches to sustainability, green infrastructure, community outreach, and regenerative business practices.
