Balch Springs Businesses: We Want to Hear From You

Rooted Futures Collective, in collaboration with the Balch Springs Chamber of Commerce, is inviting local businesses and organizations to take part in the Balch Springs Business & Community Engagement Survey.

The survey is designed to help us better understand how businesses are already involved in the community, what priorities matter most to them, where they may be interested in becoming more engaged, and what kinds of support could make participation easier.

Whether your business has been serving Balch Springs for decades or is one of the newest members of our local business community, your perspective matters.

Why This Survey Matters

Local businesses are more than places to shop, eat, work, or access services. They are part of the social and economic fabric of the community.

Many businesses already contribute through sponsorships, donations, volunteer work, youth programs, local purchasing, beautification efforts, community events, and other forms of support. Others may be interested in becoming more involved but face barriers such as limited staff, time, funding, or simply not knowing where opportunities exist.

This survey is intended to help identify those connections.

The information gathered will help Rooted Futures Collective and the Balch Springs Chamber of Commerce better understand where business interests, community needs, and partnership opportunities overlap.

Building Stronger Local Partnerships

The goal of this survey is not simply to collect responses.

We want to better understand what local businesses are already contributing, where they want to grow, and what kinds of partnerships could make meaningful community involvement easier and more effective.

That might mean connecting businesses with volunteer projects, helping organizations find local partners, identifying opportunities for youth programs, creating stronger sustainability resources, developing collaborative community initiatives, or simply improving how businesses hear about opportunities to get involved.

The strongest community partnerships begin with understanding what people actually need, what they can offer, and what they care about.

We hope local businesses will take a few minutes to help us build that picture.
